# GET /.well-known/security.txt — Get well known security.txt

Mandatory endpoint, which should return the site's administrator's contact details, such that security vulnerabilities
and similar matters can be communicated in a simple and secure manner.

As this endpoint's response is entirely configurable by the end user, it should be considered optional and to be likely
not machine-readable.

**Note**: If no `security.txt` file has been configured on this instance, the endpoint returns a `404 Not Found`
response instead.

See [RFC 9116](https://www.rfc-editor.org/info/rfc9116/) and [security.txt](https://securitytxt.org/) for details on how
a proper `security.txt` response should look like.

## Request

```bash
curl \
  -H 'Authorization: Bearer secret-token:PIPeJGUt7c00ENn8a5uDlc' \
  https://api.example.com/.well-known/security.txt
## Response
### 200 · OK
